Greetings! My name is Victoria.

I'm obsessed with the way people interact with technology. My senior year of college, I wrote a 100+-page honors thesis on the concept of digital democracy in Taiwan and its swift, technologically mediated COVID-19 response.

In this process, I loved analyzing the social conditions that have allowed Taiwan to adopt so many tech-based public health interventions, such as daily live streams of the public health minister briefings and a mask inventory app. I realized I wanted the technical skills to build and evaluate these tools, which were able to help people during a vulnerable, anxiety-ridden time. This realization brought me to the world of product design and human factors.

I care deeply about inclusive design, and I've strengthened my knowledge of accessibility best practices with certifications from Liz Brown and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I am currently advancing my skills through the Master of Human-Computer Interaction and Human Factors at Rice University.

In my free time, I enjoy trying new recipes, going on walks, crochet, and running. I recently completed my first 10k!
